Watch David Archuleta singing Apologize in Chicago Tour.

The “American Idols Live!” tour hit town this weekend like the well-oiled machine that it is. The three-hour show moved at a brisk pace — and a few of the performers made a bigger impact than they did while on the show.
Chikezie (he’s since dropped his last name) may have been at the bottom of the top 10 on the spring season of Fox’s “American Idol,” but you would have never known it from his performance Saturday night. His energy and joy were infectious on Ray Charles/Donny Hathaway’s “I Believe to My Soul,” and he had the crowd on its feet dancing with him to John Legend’s “So High.”
You can’t believe everything you see – or don’t see – on MySpace, says American Idol’s Brooke White, who blames a technical glitch for the absence of David Archuleta as a “friend” on her page.
“Don’t fret, my dears, David is one of my favorite people on the planet!!!” she writes. “Rest assured, we all are all super-duper friends, like family, actually, enjoying this tour together.”
The 25-year-old fifth-place finalist on last season’s show says only a technical issue has kept 17-year-old runner-up “Archie” from showing up on her “top friends” box. Both are now on an American Idol tour of the U.S. with the other contestants.
“It’s been driving me crazy … and so after going on a search through hundreds of pages of friends … I still can’t find Archie’s official page … along with a few other Idol contestant friends of mine!” White writes. “In time, I will work it out, when I have few spare moments while on the road!”
White says she’s amazed it even became an issue among some fans.
“It’s kinda funny, and/or interesting how seriously people take this MySpace thing,” she writes. “I can’t believe I’m even writing a blog about this, LOL!!!”

Allheadlinenews.com has posted that David Archuleta has taken to his MySpace to answer his fans burning questions. Archuleta appears in a video, laughing and talking about his life.Archie, as his fans call him, answers questions sent in to him, including fans wondering if he has any pets. The singer reveals he has a Poodle named Teddy, who only knows how to shake hands and dance a little, and a goldfish named Conditioner which is the size of his hand.
“I love animals and can’t wait to get more when I grow up,” he said. He also discussed the fact that Spanish was his first language, however he doesn’t speak it as much anymore. He said he loves the Spanish culture, the food, the music, everything. His mom is from Honduras.
The final question Archie answers is about whether or not he works out. Laughing, he points at his arm and says he has gotten flabby since he started his “Idol” adventure. He did say he used to run cross country and would like to start running again.
On an interview with ” Live with Regis and Kelly”, David said that he has all the stuff going on right now and he just want to focus on his music. The 17 year-old American Idol finalist looks like will stay single for a long time. Right now, he is about to do the American Idol tour this summer and he plans to continue his senior year this coming fall. Just like what he always say, He will look for a girlfriend when he is really ready for it.
Whether single or double, David’s singing prowess will surely continue to hit the airwaves.
David Archuleta may have a girlfriend (does he really have one guys?? do tell us!), but he’s been dreaming about another woman for awhile now. Asked which singer the American Idol teen sensation would like to duet with, our fave cutiepie gave a somewhat surprising answer of Natasha Bedingfield. David Archuleta gushes, “I love [her]! [I’d sing] a really fun song that had a cool beat. I love ‘These Words’ and her new song ‘Love Like This.’ She’s one of my favorites. She’s awesome because she has that cool mix of pop and soul, R&B.”
FYI: Natasha Bedingfield is an English pop singer-songwriter, based in London, England. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, she recorded rock and gospel songs for the Hillsong London Church. Natasha recorded her first album Unwritten in 2004. The album contained primarily uptempo pop songs and was influenced by R&B music. In 2007, she received a Grammy Award nomination for “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance” for the song “Unwritten”. So guys, what do you think of David Archuleta’s choice? Thumbs up??
